In the Torculum wine museum, Chur's 2000-year-old winegrowing culture is brought to life. Built in 1604, the Neubruchtorkel houses the largest grape press in Eastern Switzerland with a 14.5 m long barrel. The wine-growing museum, which has existed since 1984, has now been redesigned. Together with the company Gasser Derungs, the exhibition was completely redesigned to meet the interests of today's visitors. In addition to the exciting objects on display, a specially produced film shows, among other things, how the grape press was used in those days. The "Torculum" is also ideal for social events and cultural events in connection with aperitifs or meals. Chur Tourism now also offers a themed guided tour on the subject of wine culture, with a visit to the Torculum Wine Museum. There is also a combined offer especially for groups, which includes a guided tour of the wine and a visit to the wine museum with wine tasting, as well as a fine regional menu in Chur's old town.
