Step by step out of the lockdown: Due to the Coronavirus, public life in Chur (and the whole canton) was considerably restricted since Monday, 16 March 2020. From the 11 May 2020 on, restrictions will be relaxed. Please find below information about the current offers of Chur Tourism, Chur cableways Bergbahnen and Chur Sports and Event Facilities.
The Tourist Services provided by Chur Tourismus at the Information Center at the Railway Station are no longer available until further notice due to measurements against the spread of the Coronavirus. During that time, Chur Tourismus is happy to help you by phone under +41 81 252 18 18 or by mail under firstname.lastname@example.org. You can reach us from Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
Information about the public transport is still provided by the Stadtbus Chur from Monday - Friday from 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 6.30pm and on Saturday from 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm.
All guided tours - public and private ones - are cancelled until the end of May. Subject to change. As soon as guided tours cna be offered again, we will inform here.
All offers such as culinary tours, group offers, rail travel offers are no longer available until further notice.
Due to the coronavirus, the Canton of Graubünden decided on 15 March 2020 that from Monday 16 March (12:00) until 30 April 2020 the operation of restaurants in Graubünden is no longer permitted. This means that the Gastro(s)pass can no longer be used until 30 April 2020.
The missing weeks will be cathced up at a later date in autum. Hence, the tickets of the Gastro(s)pass 2020 will not be refunded but remain valid until autum. As soon as the weeks are fixed, we will inform here.
The start of cableway operations negins on 6. June.
The Chur Sports and Event Facilities are openning it's facilities step by step. The air hall for swimming opens on 11 May 2020. On the 18 May 2020, the indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and massages will follow. The outdoor pools will probably be closed until June.
Please note: Access for families with children, risk groups and for pure leisure activities is not permitted until at least 7 June 2020.
