Chur Tourism - The Swiss Alpine City, Graubünden

Calanda Bike Challenge by swissrent

The «Dave Kilshaw's Calanda Challenge» is a free, interactive outdoor sports adventure. The challenge is to conquer the bike tour from Chur or Zizers up to the Calanda Hut. You'll find 6 signposts along the way, which contain a Scan-Point. If you master the more than 20 km, and 1,500 vertical meters along the well-kept forest road up to the Calanda hut, and can scan the respective points with the swissrent-App you can earn 20 «mountainmiles» per scan, which can be redeemed for rental with swissrent. Of course, there is also a unique view of the Rhine valley below, and the surrounding Swiss Alps, at an altitude of 2,000 m. After a festive drink and snack in the hut, all that's left is the epic descent back to the valley floor. Ready for the Challenge?

Starting point in Chur

The first Scan-Point signpost is right in the middle of the city center (Alexanderplatz, in front of the City Shop Chur).
