Guided Tour of the Chur Cathedral

High above the historic centre proudly stands the Episcopal Court with the late-Roman cathedral of the Assumption (of the Blessed Virgin), which was dedicated in 1272 after a construction period of one hundred years. Particularly of note: it’s late Gothic high altar shining in golden splendour from the year 1492.
