Domat/Ems

Domat/Ems is the fourth largest municipality in Graubünden. It is not least interesting from a linguistic point of view: the town is the northernmost municipality where Romansh is spoken.

Felsberg

At the foot of Calanda you can look forward to special experiences. The fact, that two former federal councillors come from here makes it already apparent, that this small village has a lot to offer.

Rhäzüns

«Rhäzünser is healthier» – is the slogan used throughout Switzerland to advertise Rhäzüns mineral water. But the municipality at the entrance to the Domleschg valley has much more to offer.

Tamins

Who says Tamins, means also Reichenau at the confluence of the Rhine rivers. The Kunkelspass is a higlight for many bikers from near and far. Top of Tamins is the Ringelspitz with 3247m.

Haldenstein Castle

Haldenstein Castle was built in the 16th century and is included in Switzerland's inventory of art and cultural-historical protected items.

Reichenau Castle

The Reichenau Castle lies at the confluence of the Hinter and Vorder Rhine rivers. Built in the 17th century by the episcopal Schauenstein family of ministers, it looks back on a long history.

Church Sogn Gieri

The church Sogn Gieri between Bonaduz and Rhäzüns has exceptional cultural value. According to excavations the first church at this site dates back to the 6th or 7th century.

Rhäzüns Castle

The Rhäzüns Castle, which guarded the entrance to the Domleschg, sits enthroned on a steep rock above the Hinterrhein. It opens a whole round of castles and palaces along the Hinterrhein.

Castle ruins of Haldenstein

Haldenstein has probably the highest density of castles out of all municipalities in Graubünden. There are no fewer than three castles within its borders.
