Street Art

Chur is the hometown of street artist Fabian Florin aka «BANE». His works now adorn cities from the eastern Mediterranean to Asia and are highly regarded exhibits in art galleries. Numerous works of unique charisma can also be seen in Chur.

As founder and president of the «Association for Urban Culture Graubünden», BANE continues to drive this development, among other things with the Street Art Festival Chur.

Mill tower «Mühleturm»

In 2018, «Bane&Pest» created a creative landmark for the city of Chur on the striking mill tower - and at the same time the largest mural in Switzerland.

Schoolhouse Lachen

The graffiti artwork «I have a dream» on the facade of the Lachen school building in Chur was a matter of the heart for «Bane»; it was developed together with the city of Chur and the cultural office.

Caritas market

The realised work in the Caritas market delights the viewer with its choice of subject and attention to detail.

VIVA Club Chur

This commissioned work was made especially for the VIVA Club in Chur. The work was reworked with a special invisible UV layer after production.

Legal walls for graffiti artwork

The city of Chur supports graffiti art with an overall concept. Since 2014, numerous walls have been released for creative works of art. The legal locations can be found on the GIS city map.

The Chur «City E-Guide» app also includes a street art tour in which «Bane» explains (in mother tongue) the works of art himself. An exciting journey of discovery, digitally or even better: on site.
