Since 2013, the brand from Chur has been pursuing the goal of creating high-performance clothing that is both socially and ecologically responsible. ROTAUF was one of the first outdoor brands to dispense with PFC impregnations – a trend that many are now following. In 2016, they joined the strict Greenpeace Detox Commitment and banned over 430 hazardous chemicals from their production. ROTAUF is the only Swiss outdoor brand and one of 3 brands worldwide to take this consistent step. With Bünder wool from Disentis, ROTAUF uses a locally available wool as a highly functional fleece, which proves how by-products of animal husbandry can be used sensibly.
