Chur’s Christmas market is one of the largest and most atmospheric in Switzerland: around 160 market stalls invite you to get into the Christmas spirit in the colourful, festively lit old town, as well as stock up on regional and handmade Christmas gifts. 

When strolling through the festively decorated old town in Chur, there are more than 160 market stalls to discover. Most of the products on offer are handmade, regional products, from wooden toys and Christmas wreaths to Christmas-themed baked goods and a host of other homemade gifts.

There are also refreshments on offer at the Christmas market: whether freshly prepared barley soup, hot glühwein or homemade Mailänderli (cookies), you will find something for you at one of the range of different gastro stands.

Several golden envelopes are hidden at the Christmas market. So don't just keep your eyes peeled for presents and mulled wine during your visit. The envelopes contain vouchers from local businesses. If you find one of the golden envelopes, you can redeem the voucher directly in the respective shop.
