River rafting on the Vorderrhein: halfday trip

The tour starts in Ilanz and takes you on the Vorderrhein to Reichenau. You will enjoy the whole Rhine Gorge with its fascinating nature and imposing limestone cliffs.

• approx. 3 ½ until 4 hours, of which approx. 2 hours on the water

• Adults 18 years and older:  CHF 120.00
• Youths 10 - 17 years:  CHF  80.00

Meeting point

• Train station Ilanz

From here you will go to the base and receive the tour information and whitewater clothing. Before embarking follow the safety rules and paddling instructions.

Times

• 9.35am (morning tour)
• 2.35pm Uhr (afternoon tour)
• Other times possible for groups on request

Realization

• Beginning of May until mid-October

Minimum age

• 10 years accompanied by an adult, otherwise 12 years
• The event is not suitable for pregnant women

Services

• Equipment (neoprene clothing incl. - shoes, splash jacket, life jacket, helmet)
• Instruction and accompaniment by top qualified raft guides
• Luggage transport to the disembarkation point
• Drinks after arrival of the tour in Reichenau
• Safety certification ISO 21101 and public liability insurance

Bring along

• Swimwear incl. bathing / towel
• Backpack or bag
• Optional: sports band for your glasses, sunscreen
• Depending on the weather, synthetic sports underwear is recommended for better heat insulation

Arrival by train

Travel comfortably from Chur by train to Ilanz station. The trains of the Rhaetian Railway run hourly. You can find connections at www.sbb.ch.

Travel by car to the disembarkation point in Reichenau and continue by train to Ilanz. Alternatively, travel by car to Ilanz and return by train from Reichenau to Ilanz after the event. Connections can be found at www.sbb.ch.
