Concert of the Kantorei St. Martin Chur with works by Christopher Tambling

Under the direction of Barbara Picenoni, the Kantorei St. Martin will perform a concert with works by Christopher Tambling (1964 -2015).
She will be accompanied and complemented by Stephan Thomas on the organ and the tower wind ensemble under the direction of Gerhard Hirsbrunner.

The compositions of Christopher Tambling, who lived and worked in England from 1964 to 2015, are strongly rooted in English Romanticism and are characterized by harmonious sound, expressiveness and freshness. The Laudate Dominum, the Mass in G, The Lord is my Shepherd, God be in my head and the Festive Hallelujah will be performed.

The tower winds and Stephan Thomas on the organ play various works by Ch. Tambling, G.F. Handel and Henry Purcell.
