Description
Over twenty young girls, women, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people have been rehearsing in band workshops in six cantons and three languages since February 2024. Together with their coaches, they have worked on songs and put together a set that they will perform live in front of an audience in various Swiss cities in fall 2024.
In addition to the band "Two Shoes" from Chur, "Strangers in the Alps" from Wetzikon and "Dream of your Love" from St. Gallen will also be performing that evening.
Dream of your Love (18.30 hrs)
This unique pop duo consists of singer Alisa and harpist Lana. The band name came about in an original way: While they were working on their song "Lift Me Up", they randomly chose words from it to form the name "Dream of your Love". Alisa inspires with her soulful voice, while Lana creates a unique soundscape with her modern harp. Together they combine melodic pop with a touch of
magic that transports their listeners to dreamlike spheres.
Strangers in the Alps (18.50)
is a trio consisting of Anaëlle, Melanie and Sophie. With floating, lyrical and melodic sounds, they interpret songs by Phoebe Bridgers, among others, and create an atmosphere full of depth and emotion. With their subtle arrangements and harmonies, they enchant every audience.
Two Shoes (7.30 pm)
Two-packs are needed: "Two Shoes" is an example, but also the name of a duo. Luka and Michelle enchant with their thoughtful, sensitive manner and lots of charisma. The diversity and maturity of their personalities, but also a certain innocence towards life, are also evident in their sound and in the themes - from slightly wistful, psychedelic to dreamy, romantic RnB to powerful pop ballads, the two interpret everything - and in a very intimate and harmonious way.
Michelle Wiederseiner (Vocals, Keys)
Luka Hlavinka (backing vocals, keys, bass, beats)
