JazzChur presents: Josilemi Trio

In March 2022, Joe Fonda and Silke Eberhard met at New York's Downtown Music Record Store, and just six months later they were on stage together with Austrian drummer Emil Gross in Berlin. The Josilemi Trio was born. The compositions and improvisations of the collective trio are powerful, driving, elegant, structured and refined, combining diverse influences with improvisational inspiration. It is music completely connected to the moment and at the same time completely forward-looking. It is music for the here and now and the future.
