The singer Lucia Cadotsch gives jazz standards and her own compositions a wonderful depth with her voice and in interaction with her fellow musicians. Cadotsch has lived in Berlin for over 20 years and released her acclaimed debut album in 2016 with her trio Speak Low. Their latest project Aki captivates with touching, soulful compositions - a floating melange of jazz, art-pop and electrifying salon music. Aki is cast like a traditional jazz quartet, but skilfully breaks through the boundaries of the genre, chooses unconventional paths and eludes any conventional categorization.

In 2014, Lareida's first album "Agorà" was released, recorded with his ensemble of the same name. In 2015, the formation gave its last concert. In the Japanese Zen art "Kintsugi", a traditional repair method for ceramics, a broken jug is artfully mended. And so the Agorà Ensemble comes together again for the first time; in the meantime, they have all expanded their experience as professional musicians. In this creative reunion, the formation explores the potential of the music they recorded together over ten years ago. What a journey through time!

With "Artificial Movement", Senza Peso will be implemented in an interdisciplinary manner on the third and last evening. On the one hand, the graphic score will be interpreted together with the Ticino dancer Lena Bagutti. She appears throughout Europe again and again through unusual and innovative projects and lives a physical-dance approach to improvisation. On the other hand, the score is also musically interpreted and co-designed by an AI, i.e. an artificial intelligence. In this way, the archaic art form of dance or physical movement meets the artistic abilities of an artificial intelligence.

Senza Peso wants to get to the bottom of the question of what makes a strong collective. For this purpose, the composer and double bass player Luca Sisera, who has been working internationally with his collective Roofer for over 10 years, has composed a graphic score that leaves a lot of room for interpretation and design. For this project, Sisera has invited musicians from all over the world who aspire to create shared, innovative and sustainable experiences. In addition to the changing guests, Sisera is supported by his Roofer rhythm section with Yves Theiler on piano and Michael Stulz on drums.
