Miller Anderson is the guitarist who has played with all the top bands since the 60s. He was/is guitarist, singer, songwriter of: The Royal Crests, Keef Hartley Band, Hemlock, Savoy Brown, Blood Sweat & Tears, T-Rex, Donovan, Chicken Shack, Mountain, Jon Lord & the Gemini Band, The Spencer Davis Group, Deep Purple, Roger Chapman & the Shortlist, Hamburg Blues Band, ...

Miller Anderson came to London from Scotland in 1965 and played in a band with Freddy "Fingers" Lee and later "Mott the Hoople" frontman Ian Hunter. In 1968 he became a member of the Keef Hartley Band, with whom he recorded 5 albums as main songwriter, guitarist and lead singer. The band performed at the legendary Woodstock Festival in 1969, but unfortunately the management at the time refused to film it.

Miller was also a founding member of Savoy Brown, Chicken Shack and Mountain. He toured as a guest musician with Deep Purple and can be seen on their live CD/DCD, which was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in 1999, as well as working with Jon Lord in the studio and on stage.  Miller was a member of the Spencer Davis Group for 25 years and is still on the road with Spencer today when he plays one of his now rare tours. From 2012 to 2015, Miller played as a permanent guest guitarist and singer in the Hamburg Blues Band. Now he is finally back on tour with his own beloved Miller Anderson Band to the delight of his numerous fans!

Miller released several solo albums that received great reviews. For example, the album "Chameleon" from 2008 was awarded the title of "Album of the Year" in Good Times magazine. The live double CD "From Lizard Rock" was released in September 2009. A live CD & DVD of their concert at the WDR Rockpalast (in der Harmonie/Bonn) followed in 2010 and in the spring of 2016 Miller recorded the new album "Through the Mill" with his friend and producer Jeremy Sherman. In September 2017, the band recorded the live CD with the best line-up mentioned below: "Live in Vienna" reflects the whole dynamic and range of the Miller Anderson Band, as well as the current live CD "Live at Herzberg" with many titles from the Woodstock program from 1969! A new "milestone" in the band's history, according to Miller:
"the best Miller Anderson band ever!"

His concise style makes Miller Anderson one of the great guitarists of blues rock. Above all, the adept slide work and the powerful, never effect-seeking use of wah-wah solos have cemented the reputation of the Woodstock veteran and Jimi Hendrix admirer as an outstanding string virtuoso. Not to forget Miller's expressive singing, just extra class!

In the opening act, keyboarder Frank Tischer and drummer Tommy Fischer play in duo for about 40 minutes under the name "Sound on Purpose". SoP is a German keyboard rock duo that combines the styles of the "Berlin School" and "rock". Their music leaves plenty of room to romp, dance, dream. Their sound is mainly carried by rocking electric pianos and organ, space-like sounds and the driving drums. The duo presents tracks from their debut album "Cosmic Tales" (CD+Vinyl).
