Muralim is like barefoot in the sand, like jumping into cold water in summer, like the first coffee in the morning. Muralim is music for the heart and the stomach and stands for the moments when you forget everything and only the here and now counts. The band met during their studies at the Zurich University of the Arts and was named to the "Best of Swiss Jazz Bachelors" series shortly afterwards. The music was penned by saxophonist Mauro Reimann and is further developed by the influences of all band members while jamming together. The result is music that is hard to escape. The melodies are catchy and at the same time refined, the grooves invite you to bob along and the unbridled joy of playing of the band makes the air crackle above the stage.
