RACHMANINOFF and DVORAK · Piano Trios

Andrey Baranov, violinist, comes from St. Petersburg and is a prizewinner of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition and the Benjamin Britten International Violin Competition. Since his debut in 2005 at the Great Philharmonic in Saint Petersburg under Vasily Petrenko, he has performed as a soloist with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the MusicAeterna Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Royal Philharmonic London and the Camerata Salzburg, among others. His chamber music partners include Martha Argerich.

The Moscow pianist Alexander Panfilov is a prizewinner of various international competitions. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall and St. Martin-in-the-fields in London, the Musikverein in Vienna and the Tonhalle Zurich, with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and the Musikkollegium Winterthur.

Christoph Croisé, the cellist from Aargau, made his debut at Carnegie Hall New York at the age of 17. Further performances have taken him to concert halls such as the Tonhalle Zurich, the Konzerthaus Vienna, the Philharmonie Berlin, the Wigmore Hall London, the Residenz Munich and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. In addition to the cello, Christoph Croisé is active as a composer and conductor. He is the artistic director of the Niederlenz Music Festival, a classical and electronic music festival that takes place at the end of April.
