Reading and discussion with Köbi Gantenbein

Ancient chapels, ostentatious churches of war entrepreneurs, the most beautiful painting in the Alps, the first strike in the canton, the bishop's fight for lost souls turned into stone, the former church as a luxurious second home – the Lower Engadine is a fascinating church landscape.

Köbi Gantenbein, long-time editor-in-chief and publisher of Hochparterre and passionate hiker, has visited 30 churches between Brail and Martina. On this evening, he talks about its architecture, about the church, art and social history from the Lower Engadine. He will read passages from his new work and explain contexts on the origin and background of his architectural histories. The award-winning architecture and landscape photographer Ralph Feiner also has his say. He will illustrate and comment on Gantenbein's remarks with a photo projection. Visual designer Barbara Schrag will also be involved in the discussion, who will address the aspect of book design.

Afterwards, an aperitif will be offered.
