After exhibitions in Olten and St. Gallen, the exhibition "The Clock of War" is now coming to Chur. The Ukrainian Photo Diary (UPD) and the Evshan association invite you to the opening of the exhibition, which will be on view at the Stadtgalerie Chur from February 17 to March 6, 2025. With the Russian attack on February 24, 2022, life in Ukraine has changed fundamentally. The project "The Clock of War" documents these changes and shows how war shapes people's everyday lives. The exhibition presents photographs taken by Ukrainian men, women and children. In doing so, she deliberately refrains from warlike or bloody images. Instead, it offers insights into everyday life – marked by loss, hope and resilience. The exhibition comprises 24 thematic collages that deal with different facets of the theme of "loss". All proceeds from the exhibition will benefit those in need of protection and victims of war in Ukraine. The event takes place in cooperation with the Ukrainian School in Chur, which was founded on March 23, 2023. The Evshan association supports Ukrainian children with lessons in language and culture in order to preserve their origin and identity. This exhibition is a collaborative project that aims to support the Ukrainian population and raise awareness of the effects of the war.
