Igis - Ganda - Landquart

We start our hike at the pretty RhB station Igis. At the bus stop "Kreuz-wiese" we turn left, soon cross the Mühlebach and leave the asphalt road at the Mühlihof, turning right. Soon we discover the first of numerous biotopes along our way to Landquart. A little above the petrol station at the Ganda, a nice barbecue area invites you to take a break.

Continue to the bridge of the old cantonal road over the Landquart. In earlier times, the small gravel lot was home to the RhB station Felsenbach, which served as a train station for the inhabitants of Valzeina. We turn left, cross under the main road and walk along the path between the Malanser Mühlbach and the RhB tracks to the Dunggelaluli biotope. It is worth taking a look at the numerous ponds. There is always something to discover.

At the next fork in the road we keep left, cross the railway line and get back to the Landquart. We stay on the right bank of the river and walk along it to the crossroads at the Karlihof. Here we change sides, cross under the main road and along the left bank we reach our destination at Landquart train station in a short time.
