Details
Description
The next day starts at sunrise – because on the second stage you should plan enough time for a break at the whirlpool pots above Alp Mora. The path leads to the wild Lawoitobel and from there over the steep Morgang (alpine hiking trail) 500 meters in altitude to the Mutta Sura. Once at the top, the foot bath in the whirlpool pots is only a stone's throw away. The view of Domleschg and Surselva is breathtaking.
The path over the Alp Mora down to Bargis remains exciting and requires good surefootedness, on the historic Poland Trail you pass old stone shelters of the shepherds. The last stretch leads via Alp Lavadignas over alpine pastures, before the mountain hiking trail becomes a forest road after crossing a stream. On the Bargis plateau you can cool your feet again in the stream before you can make yourself comfortable in the mountain inn Bargis.
Geheimtipp
On the second stage, with a bit of luck, you can even observe golden eagles. Don't forget binoculars.
