From the Tamins village square, along the old country road and hiking path up to the valley terrace. Extensive views over Bonaduz, Rhäzüns, Talenge through to Domleschg and the Rheinschlucht canyon. Trin-Digg and Trin-mulin form a part of Trin.

Tamins shares its peak with the neighbouring village of Trin and with the canton of St. Gallen across the pass.
