The Alpine city of Chur serves as the starting point for this impressive panoramic hike from the local mountain, Brambrüesch, across the Dreibündenstein to the mountain village of Feldis. The route leads through enchanting alpine flora and offers breathtaking panoramic views.

The highest point of the hike is the Dreibündenstein at 2,160 meters, a historic border point and summit at the same time. It marks the meeting point of the former three Rhaetian leagues and provides a magnificent panorama of the mountain ranges of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona, the Grisons Alps, and far beyond—perfect for a break with the Chur picnic bag.

  • Recommended starting time: between 9am - 10am
  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Hiking time to the chairlift Muotta: approx. 3 ½ hours (chairlift from Mutta to Feldis)
  • Hiking time to Feldis: approx. 4 hours 
  • Accessible to prams: No
  • Wheelchair accessible: No
  • Hiking route: Top station of Brambrüesch gondola - Spundis - Furggabüel - Dreibündenstein - Mutta - Feldis 
  • Children: Recommended from approx. 10 years or as soon as the children can walk a longer distance on their own
  • Return journey: From Feldis to Rhäzüns by cable car, from Rhäzüns to Chur by train or bus
